This event builds on the successful Digital Broadcasting Switchover Forum Africa events that have taken place over the last decade, and recognises the changes that have taken place in broadcasting during that time. These events have helped policy makers, regulators and operators from the African broadcasting and ICT sectors to map out their strategies for digital switchover.
Why you should attend:
- Discuss technical and practical transition challenges across the continent
- Review regulatory approaches to digital broadcasting
- Understand the growth in broadband connectivity and its impact on broadcasting
- Discover new initiatives in local content production for global audiences
- Recognise the potential of second screens on digital platforms
- Benchmark your roll-out strategy for free-to-air and pay-TV services
- Assess the latest funding and investment trends for digital broadcasting
